Neither Here Nor Gone: Ambiguous Loss and Digital Presence in Modern Grief

Participants explored the intersection of digital memory and grief, considering resources like social media archives, saved messages, and AI tools and how they can influence mourning, connection, and closure. The session integrated psychological insight, ethical reflection, and experiential engagement. Participants examined how technology mediates presence and absence, comfort and confusion, and how meaning-making can emerge even when closure remains uncertain.

Is This Abuse? Using a Legal and Clinical Lens to Identify Markers of Abuse in the Narratives of Women. This workshop prioritizes listening to the narratives of women, aiming to answer the question, “Is this abuse?” from legal and clinical perspectives. Through an examination of women’s narratives, the event sheds light on their experiences. Additionally, we will touch on factors such as immigration status and disability as contributing factors to vulnerability. Hosted with the Domestic Violence Project.

Postpartum Support International's 2023 Conference; Postpartum Realities in a Polyamorous Landscape.

Polyamorous relationships are increasingly common and frequently overlap with the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Postpartum professionals must understand the bidirectional relationship of polyamory and postpartum to help these families thrive.
