If you’re exploring therapy for the first time, welcome. You don’t need a perfect plan or the right words. Just a little willingness to show up. I’ll meet you there.
We'll start with a 15–20 minute virtual meeting is a low-stress way to explore what you need and see if we’re a good fit. You don’t have to prepare anything. I’ll guide the process and answer any questions you have. If I’m not the right person for you, I’ll do my best to connect you with someone who is.
I work with couples, families, and individuals navigating:
Trauma and complex trauma: childhood abuse, sexual violence, domestic violence, medical trauma, attachment wounds, and other adverse childhood experiences
Queer and trans identity development: coming out, gender transitions, family dynamics, raising queer and trans kids, and parents coming out later in life
Bicultural, immigrant, first- and second-generation experiences: navigating belonging, cultural identity, and the push-and-pull between worlds
Perinatal and reproductive experiences: fertility journeys, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, postpartum shifts, identity in early parenthood, and the stress of family planning as a queer couple
Reproductive journey complexity: childless by choice, infertility, PMDD, PCOS, menopause, and perimenopause
Family rupture and repair: estrangement, reconciliation, chosen family, and intergenerational patterns
Couples and relationship work: communication struggles, intimacy, conflict repair, infidelity, parental alienation, divorce mediation, co-parenting, blended families, and kink-affirming care in monogamous, non-monogamous, or polyamorous relationships
Chronic illness and chronic pain: coping with body-based limitations, grief, and navigating medical systems
Life transitions: breakups, relocation, grief, career change, and other turning points
Boundaries, codependency, and finding your voice: in families, partnerships, and workplaces
Creative blocks and reclaiming expression: for artists, writers, parents, caregivers, and anyone reconnecting with play or imagination
All sessions are held virtually on a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Virtual therapy offers flexibility, privacy, and the comfort of your own space.
I’m licensed to practice psychotherapy in New York and New Jersey, so telehealth law requires that you are physically located in NY or NJ at the time of your session. If you’ll be traveling outside those states, just let me know and we’ll plan accordingly.
If you feel curious, safe, or even just a little relieved after our sessions, that’s often a good sign. I’m always open to checking in about how things are feeling, and I’ll be honest if I believe another therapist might be a better fit. Your sense of safety and agency matters here.
It depends on what you’re seeking. Some clients come for short-term support around a specific transition or crisis; others stay longer for deeper integration and relational healing. We’ll check in regularly about what’s shifting, what’s emerging, and whether our work still feels aligned.
Private pay (sliding scale): $150–$250 per session
We’ll choose a rate within this range together based on need and availability. Longer sessions for couples/families are available for OON clients only.
In-network insurance I accept Aetna. If we use insurance, I’ll submit claims on your behalf; you’re responsible for any copay, coinsurance, or deductible your plan assigns.
